Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) complained to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about the hardship she faced from grinding the mill. Some captives came to the Prophet (peace be upon him). Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) went (to see him), but she did not meet the Prophet (peace be upon him); instead, she met Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her). Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) informed Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) about her need. When the Prophet (peace be upon him) arrived, Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) informed him about Sayyidah Fatimah’s (may Allah be pleased with her) visit. So the Prophet (peace be upon him) came to us while we had already lain down on our bed. I was about to get up, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Stay in your place.” Then he sat between us until I felt the coolness of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) feet on my chest. He (peace be upon him) said: “Shall I not teach you something better than what you have asked for (i.e., what you requested from me)? When you go to bed, recite Allahu Akbar thirty-four times, Subhan Allah thirty-three times, and Alhamdulillah thirty-three times. This is better for both of you than having a servant.”
