Hadith 6914
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ كَهْمَسٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي هَرَمِيُّ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، وَأُسَامَةُ بْنُ خُرَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَا يُغَازِيَانِ ، فَحَدَّثَانِي وَلا يَشْعُرُ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا أَنَّ صَاحِبَهُ حَدَّثَنِيهِ ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ الْبَهْزِيِّ ، قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي طَرِيقٍ مِنْ طُرُقِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، قَالَ : " كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُونَ فِي فِتْنَةٍ تَثُورُ فِي أَقْطَارِ الأَرْضِ كَأَنَّهَا صَيَاصِي الْبَقَرِ ؟ قَالُوا : نَصْنَعُ مَاذَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذَا وَأَصْحَابِهِ ، قَالَ : فَأَسْرَعْتُ حَتَّى عَطَفْتُ إِِلَى الرَّجُلِ ، قُلْتُ : هَذَا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : هَذَا ، فَإِِذَا هُوَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ " .
Sayyiduna Marrah Bahzi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once we were walking with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) on a road in Madinah. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: What will you do during a tribulation that will spread over the earth like the horn of a cow? The people asked: O Messenger of Allah, what should we do? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: It is obligatory upon you to stay with that person and his companions. (The narrator says:) I quickly rushed towards the person to whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) had indicated and asked: O Messenger of Allah, is it this one? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Yes, it is he. And that was Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him).
