Hadith 6911
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, "Watch the door." Then a man came and sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Give him permission and give him the glad tidings of Paradise." He was Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him). Then another man came and sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Give him permission and give him the glad tidings of Paradise." He was Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). Then another man came and sought permission to enter. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, then he said, "Give him permission, give him the glad tidings of Paradise, and along with it, he will face a severe trial that will befall him." He was Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him).
