Hadith 6904
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقَيْلِ بْنِ خُوَيْلِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خُنَيْسُ بْنُ بَكْرِ بْنِ خُنَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ سَيِّدَا كُهُولِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنَ الأَوَّلِينَ وَالآخِرِينَ ، إِِلا النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ " .
Awn bin Abu Juhaifah narrates from his father: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr and Umar are the leaders of all the elderly people of Paradise, from the first to the last, except for the Prophets and Messengers, whose matter is different."
