Hadith 6903
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ الضُّبَعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " بَيْنَمَا رَجُلٌ يَسُوقُ بَقَرَةً إِِذْ أَعْيَا ، فَرَكِبَهَا فَالْتَفَتَتْ إِِلَيْهِ ، فَقَالَتْ : إِِنَّا لَمْ نُخْلَقْ لِهَذَا ، إِِنَّمَا خُلِقْنَا لِحِرَاثَةِ الأَرْضِ ، فَقَالَ النَّاسُ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : فَإِِنِّي أُؤْمِنُ بِهَذَا أَنَا وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ " ، وَلَيْسَا فِي الْقَوْمِ ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ النَّاسُ : آمَنَّا بِمَا آمَنَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Once a man was taking a cow along with him. When he became tired, he rode on the cow. The cow turned towards him and said: 'We have not been created for this purpose; we have been created for plowing.' The people said: 'Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah.' The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'I, Abu Bakr, and Umar also believe in this (that the cow can speak), even though these two gentlemen were not present among those people.' The narrator says: So the people said: 'We also believe in that which the Messenger of Allah believes in.'"
