Hadith 6869
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ نَظَرَ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ لأَبْصَرَنَا مِنْ تَحْتِ قَدَمِهِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا ظَنُّكَ بِاثْنَيْنِ اللَّهُ ثَالِثُهُمَا ؟ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the statement of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him): I submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): If any one of them (the polytheists) looks down at his feet, he will see us beneath his feet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: What do you think about two people with whom the third is Allah, the Exalted?
