Hadith 6863
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ بِالْكَرَخِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ : " أَلَسْتُ أَحَقَّ النَّاسِ بِهَذَا الأَمْرِ ؟ أَلَسْتُ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ ؟ أَلَسْتُ صَاحِبَ كَذَا ؟ أَلَسْتُ صَاحِبَ كَذَا ؟ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Am I not the most deserving regarding this matter? Was I not the first to accept Islam? Did I not do such-and-such deed? Did I not do such-and-such deed?"
