أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَاهِرِ بْنِ أَبِي الدُّمَيْكِ بِبَغْدَادَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الأَعْمَشَ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ حِمَازٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَنَزَلْنَا ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، وَتَعَجَّلَتْ رِجَالٌ إِِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَبَاتُوا بِهَا ، فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ سَأَلَ عَنْهُمْ ، فَقِيلَ : تَعَجَّلُوا إِِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " تَعَجَّلُوا إِِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ وَالنِّسَاءِ ؟ أَمَا إِِنَّهُمْ سَيَتْرُكُونَها أَحْسَنَ مَا كَانَتْ " وَقَالَ لِلَّذِينَ تَخَلَّفُوا مَعَهُ مَعْرُوفًا ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " لَيْتَ شِعْرِي ، مَتَى تَخْرُجُ نَارٌ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ مِنْ جَبَلِ الْوَرَّاقِ ، تُضِيءُ لَهَا أَعْنَاقُ الإِِبِلِ وَهِيَ تَنْزِلُ بِبُصْرَى كَضَوْءِ النَّهَارِ " ، قَالَ عَلِيٌّ : بُصْرَى بِالشَّامِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were coming with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and we camped at Dhul-Hulaifah. Some people hurried towards Madinah and spent the night there. When morning came, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) inquired about those people, and he was informed that they had already gone ahead to Madinah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Did they hasten towards Madinah and the women? If they had left those women as they were (i.e., had not gone early last night), it would have been better. However, the people who stayed behind with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he spoke to them appropriately. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Alas! When a fire will emerge from the mountain of Waraq in Yemen, it will illuminate the necks of the camels, and that fire will descend upon Busra just as daylight descends." The narrator named Ali bin Madini says: The place called Busra is in Syria.
