أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، لَيُوشِكَنَّ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِيكُمُ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ حَكَمًا مُقْسِطًا ، يَكْسِرُ الصَّلِيبَ ، وَيَقْتُلُ الْخِنْزِيرَ ، وَيَضَعُ الْجِزْيَةَ ، وَيُفِيضُ الْمَالَ حَتَّى لا يَقْبَلُهُ أَحَدٌ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : سَمِعَ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ مِينَاءَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وَسَمِعَهُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، فَالطَّرِيقَانِ جَمِيعًا مَحْفُوظَانِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul! Soon, Jesus son of Mary will descend among you as a just and fair ruler. He will break the cross, kill the swine, and abolish the jizya (tax). Wealth will become so abundant that no one will accept it."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This narration has also been heard by Layth bin Sa'd from Sa'id Maqburi, from 'Ata bin Mina, from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he has also heard this narration from Zuhri, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), so both chains of transmission are preserved.
