Hadith 6796
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ ، فَقَالَ : " أَعْوَرُ هِجَانٌ أَزْهَرُ ، كَأَنَّ رَأْسَهُ أَصَلَةٌ ، أَشْبَهُ النَّاسِ بِعَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ قَطَنٍ ، فَإِِنْ هَلَكَ الْهُلَّكُ ، فَإِِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَيْسَ بِأَعْوَرَ " .
Sayyida Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: She heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saying: "Some people will flee to the mountains to escape from the Dajjal." Sayyida Umm Shuraik (may Allah be pleased with her) asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Where will the Arabs be on that day?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied: "They will be few in number."
