Hadith 6757
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ صَالِحٍ أَبِي الْخَلِيلِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَكُونُ اخْتِلافٌ عِنْدَ مَوْتِ خَلِيفَةٍ ، فَيَخْرُجُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ إِِلَى مَكَّةَ ، فَيَأْتِيهِ نَاسٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ ، فَيُخْرِجُونَهُ وَهُوَ كَارِهٌ ، فَيُبَايعُونَهُ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْمَقَامِ ، فَيَبْعَثُونَ إِِلَيْهِ جَيْشًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ ، فَإِِذَا كَانُوا بِالْبَيْدَاءِ خُسِفَ بِهِمْ ، فَإِِذَا بَلَغَ النَّاسَ ذَلِكَ أَتَاهُ أَبْدَالُ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ وَعِصَابَةُ أَهْلِ الْعِرَاقِ فَيُبَايعُونَهُ ، وَيَنْشَأُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَخْوَالُهُ مِنْ كَلْبٍ ، فَيَبْعَثُ إِِلَيْهِمْ جَيْشًا ، فَيَهْزِمُونَهُمْ وَيَظْهَرُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، فَيَقْسِمُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَيْئَهُمْ ، وَيَعْمَلُ فِيهِمْ بِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّهِمْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَيُلْقِي الإِِسْلامُ بِجِرَانِهِ إِِلَى الأَرْضِ ، يَمْكُثُ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ " .
Malik bin Abu Maryam narrates: We were discussing about gold plating when Abdur Rahman bin Ghanm came to us. As we started this conversation, he informed us: Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to me that he heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “Some people from my Ummah will drink wine, but they will call it by another name. Musical instruments will be played near their heads and singing women will be present. Allah Almighty will cause the earth to swallow them, and some of them will be transformed into monkeys and pigs.”
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The name of Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) is Harith bin Malik, and according to one opinion, the name of Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) is Ka’b bin Asim.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The name of Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) is Harith bin Malik, and according to one opinion, the name of Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash’ari (may Allah be pleased with him) is Ka’b bin Asim.
