Hadith 6716
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقُرْقُسَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ سَنُوطَا ، عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِِذَا مَشَتْ أُمَّتِي الْمُطَيْطَاءَ ، وَخَدَمَتْهُمْ فَارِسُ وَالرُّومُ ، سُلِّطَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Time will contract, knowledge will decrease, tribulations will appear, and killing (harj) will increase greatly." The people asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is meant by harj?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Killing."
