Hadith 6704
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " بَادِرُوا بِالأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًَا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ ، يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا ، وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا ، يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) mentioned and said: "Destruction is for the Arabs because of an evil that has drawn near; it will come in the form of a blind, mute, and deaf tribulation. In it, the one who is sitting will be better than the one who is standing, the one who is standing will be better than the one who is walking, and the one who is walking will be better than the one who is running. And for the one who runs in it, there will be destruction from Allah Almighty on the Day of Resurrection."
