Ibn Hibban

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit Sayyidah Umm Haram bint Milhan (may Allah be pleased with her). She would present food to him. Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) was the wife of Sayyiduna Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him). One day, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) visited her. She presented food to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), then began to remove lice from his head. During this, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) fell asleep. When he woke up, he was smiling. Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What makes you smile?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people from my Ummah were presented before me who will go out to fight in the way of Allah, and they will ride on the surface of the sea just as kings sit on their thrones." (Regarding one word here, the narrator is in doubt.) Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for her, then he rested his head and slept again. When he woke up, he was smiling. Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! What makes you smile?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Some people from my Ummah were presented before me who will go out to participate in jihad in the way of Allah." After that, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) repeated the same words as before. Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Pray to Allah that He includes me among them." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will be among the first ones."
(Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates) During the caliphate of Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyidah Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her) set out on a sea journey. (When she returned) and came out of the sea and mounted her ride, she fell from it and passed away.
