Hadith 6665
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنْتِ طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَسْرَعُكُنَّ لَحَاقًا بِي أَطْوَلُكُنَّ يَدًا " ، قَالَتْ : فَكُنَّ يَتَطَاوَلْنَ أَيُّهُنَّ أَطْوَلُ ، قَالَتْ : فَكَانَ أَطْوَلَنَا يَدًا زَيْنَبُ ، لأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تَعْمَلُ بِيَدِهَا وَتَتَصَدَّقُ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: A time will come upon the people when many will come to participate in battle, and it will be asked: Is there anyone among you who is a companion of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? It will be answered: Yes. Then those people will be granted victory. Then a time will come upon the people when many will go to fight, and it will be asked: Is there anyone among you who has been with the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? It will be answered: Yes. Then those people will also be granted victory. Then a time will come upon those people, many will go to participate in battle, and it will be asked: Is there anyone among you who has been with the students of the companions? Then those people will also be granted victory.
