باب إخباره صلى الله عليه وسلم عما يكون في أمته من الفتن والحوادث - ذكر البيان بأن المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم أراد بقوله يكون بعدي اثنا عشر خليفة أن الإسلام يكون عزيزا في أيامهم لا أنه أراد به نفي ما وراء هذا العدد من الخلفاء-

Hadith 6662
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لا يَزَالُ الإِِسْلامُ عَزِيزًا إِِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً " ، قَالَ : فَقَالَ كَلِمَةً لَمْ أَفْهَمْهَا ، قُلْتُ لأَبِي : مَا قَالَ ؟ قَالَ : " كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This religion will remain dominant and strong, and it will continue to be supported against its enemies, as long as there are twelve caliphs." The narrator says: Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said something which I could not hear because of the people, so I asked my father, "What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say?" He replied (the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said): "All of them will be from Quraysh."
