Hadith 6642
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ مَوْلَى ثَقِيفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الإِِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سَهْلَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ بِأُصْبُعِهِ الَّتِي تَلِي الإِِبْهَامَ وَالْوُسْطَى : " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ هَكَذَا " .
Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "Are you not pleased that your relation to me is like that of Sayyiduna Harun (peace be upon him) to Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him)? However, there will be no prophet after me."
