Hadith 6632
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ الْمَكِّيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كُفِّنَ فِي ثَلاثَةِ أَثْوَابٍ سُحُولِيَةٍ ، وَلُحِدَ لَهُ ، وَنُصِبَ اللَّبِنُ عَلَيْهِ نَصْبًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Sayyiduna Abbas, Sayyiduna Ali, and Sayyiduna Fadl (may Allah be pleased with them) entered the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). A man from among the Ansar prepared the lahd (niche) for him; he was the same person who had prepared the graves of the martyrs on the day of the Battle of Badr.
