Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for the martyrs of Uhud, then he returned. He sat on the pulpit and praised and glorified Allah, then he said: "O people! I am your predecessor before you and I will be a witness over you. By Allah! I do not fear that you will commit shirk after me, but last night the keys to the treasures of the earth and the heavens were given to me. I fear for you that you will become interested in them." Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) went inside his house and did not come out from his house until Allah took his soul. This was the last sermon that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered, until Allah (the Exalted) took (his blessed soul).
