باب مرض النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم - ذكر العلة التي من أجلها استثنى عمه صلى الله عليه وسلم بالأمر باللدود الذي وصفناه-

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : لَدَدْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي مَرَضِهِ ، فَجَعَلَ يُشِيرُ إِِلَيْنَا : " لا تَلُدُّونِي " ، فَقُلْنَا : كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَرِيضِ الدَّوَاءَ ، فَلَمَّا أَفَاقَ ، قَالَ : " أَلَمْ أَنْهَكُمْ أَنْ تَلُدُّونِيَ ؟ " ، فَقُلْنَا : كَرَاهِيَةَ الْمَرِيضِ الدَّوَاءَ ، فَقَالَ : " لا يَبْقَى فِي الْبَيْتِ أَحَدٌ إِِلا لُدَّ " ، وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِِلَى الْعَبَّاسِ ، فَإِِنَّهُ لَمْ يَشْهَدْهُمْ .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would become ill, he would recite the Mu'awwidhat (the chapters seeking refuge) over himself and blow (for healing), and he would pass his blessed hand over himself. Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: When the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with the illness in which he passed away, I began to recite the Mu'awwidhat over him and blow (for healing), just as he used to recite and blow over himself, and I continued to pass the blessed hand of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) over his body.
