Hadith 6575
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ يَسْلُتُ الدَّمُ عَنْ وَجْهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " كَيْفَ يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ شَجُّوا نَبِيَّهُمْ ، وَكَسَرُوا رَبَاعِيَتَهُ ، وَهُوَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِِلَى اللَّهِ " ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ : لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ سورة آل عمران آية 128 .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It is as if I am still looking at the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when he narrated the story of a prophet. He said: The people of that prophet beat him so much that they wounded his face. That prophet (peace be upon him) was wiping the blood from his face and saying: O my Lord! Forgive my people, for they do not know.
Hadith 6576
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْغَفَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَكَى نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ ضَرَبَهُ قَوْمُهُ حَتَّى أَدْمَوْا وَجْهَهُ ، فَجَعَلَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ ، وَيَقُولُ : " رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِقَوْمِي فَإِِنَّهُمْ لا يَعْلَمُونَ " .
Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In a battle, the finger of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was wounded, so he said: "You are only a finger, from which blood is flowing, and you have faced this situation in the way of Allah."
Hadith 6577
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْبَزَّارُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَمِيَتْ أُصْبُعُهُ فِي بَعْضِ الْمَشَاهِدِ ، فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " هَلْ أَنْتَ إِِلا أُصْبُعٌ دَمِيتَ وَفِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَا لَقِيتَ " .
Abu Hazim reports: The people asked Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him): With what was medicine applied to the wound of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He replied: Now there is no one left among the people who has more knowledge about this than me. Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) brought water in a waterskin. Sayyidah Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was washing away the blood, then a mat was taken, it was burnt, and then it was applied (to the wound of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him).
