مَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ

Yazid bin Abu Ubaid reports: I saw a mark of a wound on the shin of Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him), so I asked: O Abu Muslim, what is this wound from? He replied: This wound was inflicted on me on the day of the Battle of Hunayn. People said: Now Salamah will be martyred. Now Salamah will be martyred. The narrator says: I was brought to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) applied his saliva to it three times, and after that, I have never felt any pain in it until today.
