Hadith 6495
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ ، وَكُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِنًى ، حَتَّى ذَهَبَتْ فِلْقَةٌ خَلْفَ الْجَبَلِ ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اشْهَدُوا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The moon was split into two; at that time we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at Mina, until one part of the moon went behind the mountain. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Bear witness, all of you.
