Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Once I was walking in Paradise. During this, a river came before me. On both its banks were tents made of hollow pearls. Then the angel who was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you know what this is? This is the Kawthar which your Lord has granted you. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed his blessed hand on the ground and lifted its soil, and it was like musk."
