Hadith 6449
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى بِعَسْكَرَ مُكْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ ، فَإِِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُونِي ، فَأَنَا عَلَى الْحَوْضِ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ إِِلَى مَكَّةَ ، وَسَيَأْتِي رِجَالٌ وَنِسَاءٌ بِآنِيَةٍ وَقِرَبٍ ثُمَّ لا يَذُوقُونَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " وَسَيَأْتِي رِجَالٌ وَنِسَاءٌ بِآنِيَةٍ وَقِرَبٍ ثُمَّ لا يَذُوقُونَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا " ، أُرِيدَ بِهِ : مِنْ سَائِرِ الأُمَمِ الَّذِينَ قَدْ غُفِرَ لَهُمْ ، يَجِيئُونَ بِأَوَانِي لِيَسْتَقُوا بِهَا مِنَ الْحَوْضِ ، فَلا يُسْقَوْنَ مِنْهُ ، لأَنَّ الْحَوْضَ لِهَذِهِ الأُمَّةِ خَاصٌّ دُونَ سَائِرِ الأُمَمِ ، إِِذْ مُحَالٌ أَنْ يَقْدِرَ الْكَافِرُ وَالْمُنَافِقُ عَلَى حَمْلِ الأَوَانِي وَالْقِرَبِ فِي الْقِيَامَةِ ، لأَنَّهُمْ يُسَاقُونَ إِِلَى النَّارِ ، نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "I will go ahead of you as your forerunner. If you do not find me, then I will be present at the Hawd (Pond of Kawthar), which is as large as the distance from Aylah to Makkah. Soon, some men and women will come carrying bowls and water skins, but they will not be able to taste anything from this pond." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Soon, some men and some women will come carrying bowls and water skins, and then they will not be able to taste anything from it. By this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) meant that people belonging to other nations will come, whose forgiveness has already taken place. They will bring bowls so that they may drink from this pond, but they will not be able to drink from it because this pond is reserved for this Ummah. It is not for other nations. It is impossible for any disbeliever or hypocrite to be able to obtain bowls and water skins on the Day of Resurrection, because such people will be driven towards Hell on the Day of Resurrection. We seek Allah's refuge from Hell.
