Hadith 6433
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا إِِذَا أَتَيْنَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَلَسَ أَحَدُنَا حَيْثُ يَنْتَهِي " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When we would present ourselves in the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), each person would sit where the last person was sitting (i.e., no one would step over people to go forward).
