Hadith 6428
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ ، عَنْ زِرٍّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ عِنْدَ سِدْرَةِ الْمُنْتَهَى وَعَلَيْهِ سِتُّ مِائَةِ جَنَاحٍ ، يُنْثَرُ مِنْ رِيشِهِ تَهَاوِيلَ الدُّرِّ وَالْيَاقُوتِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I saw Jibreel near Sidrat al-Muntaha; he had 600 wings. He had spread one of his wings, from which pearls and rubies of various colors were coming out."
