Hadith 6421
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " نُصِرْتُ بِالصَّبَا ، وَأُهْلِكَتْ عَادُ بِالدَّبُورِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I was helped by the Saba wind, and the people of 'Ad were destroyed by the Dabbur (i.e., a fierce wind)."
