Hadith 6403
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِِسْمَاعِيلَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنِ الْعَلاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " فُضِّلْتُ عَلَى الأَنْبِيَاءِ بِسِتٍّ : أُعْطِيتُ جَوَامِعَ الْكَلِمِ ، وَنُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ ، وَأُحِلَّتْ لِيَ الْغَنَائِمُ ، وَجُعِلَتْ لِيَ الأَرْضُ طَهُورًا وَمَسْجِدًا ، وَأُرْسِلْتُ إِِلَى الْخَلْقِ كَافَّةً ، وَخُتِمَ بِيَ النَّبِيُّونَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been given superiority over the other prophets in six respects: I have been given comprehensive words, I have been supported through awe, spoils of war have been made lawful for me, the entire earth has been made a means of purification and a place of prayer for me, I have been sent to all of creation, and through me the line of prophets has been sealed."
