Hadith 6374
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدًا ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًَا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِشَاءٍ بَيْنَ جَبَلَيْنِ ، فَرَجَعَ إِِلَى قَوْمِهِ ، فَقَالَ : أَسْلِمُوا ، فَإِِنَّ مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُعْطِي عَطَاءَ رَجُلٍ لا يَخْشَى الْفَاقَةَ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered that he be given all the goats present between two mountains. He returned to his people and said: Accept Islam, for Muhammad (peace be upon him) gives so much to a person that he no longer fears poverty.
