Hadith 6345
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ الرَّيَّانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ غَزْوَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : " مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَاحِدٍ ثَلاثًا حَتَّى قُبِضَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، إِِلا الأَسْوَدَيْنِ : التَّمْرَ وَالْمَاءَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The family of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate to their fill for three consecutive days, until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away. Their food consisted of only two black things, dates and water.
