Hadith 6316
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ قِرَاءَةِ النَّبِيِّ ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : كَانَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَمُدُّ صَوْتَهُ مَدًّا " .
Qatadah narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) about the recitation of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he informed me that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to prolong his voice.
