Hadith 6291
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ مُجَاشِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ : كَيْفَ كَانَ شَعْرُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ قَالَ : كَانَ " شَعْرًا رَجِلًَا ، لَيْسَ بِالْجَعْدِ ، وَلا بِالسَّبْطِ بَيْنَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ " .
Qatadah narrates: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), "How was the hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied, "The hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was slightly curly, neither very curly nor completely straight, and it would reach between his ears and shoulders."
