Hadith 6252
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُوسَى ، وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، وَالسِّخْتِيَانِيُّ ، قَالُوا : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْخَطَّابِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : قَاتَلَ اللَّهُ فُلانًا يَبِيعُ الْخَمْرَ ، أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَمِعَ قَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الشُّحُومُ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوهَا ثُمَّ بَاعُوهَا " .
Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: May Allah destroy such-and-such person who sells wine. By Allah! I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say this: Fat was made unlawful for them (the Jews), so they sold it (and began to consume its price).
