Hadith 6219
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدَ ، عَنْ رُفَيْعٍ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى عَلَى وَادِي الأَزْرَقِ فَقَالَ : " كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِِلَى مُوسَى مُنْهَبِطًا وَلَهُ جُؤَارٌ إِِلَى رَبِّهِ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ " ، وَمَرَّ عَلَى ثَنِيَّةٍ ، فَقَالَ : " مَا هَذِهِ ؟ " ، قِيلَ : ثَنِيَّةُ كَذَا وَكَذَا ، قَالَ : " كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِِلَى مُوسَى يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ حَمْرَاءَ ، خِطَامُهَا مِنْ لِيفٍ ، وَعَلَيْهِ جُبَّةٌ مِنْ صُوفٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the valley of Azraq, he said: It is as if I am seeing Musa (peace be upon him) descending from the height and supplicating to his Lord with the Talbiyah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a mountain pass and asked: Which pass is this? He was told: This is such-and-such pass. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is as if I am seeing Musa (peace be upon him) throwing pebbles at the Jamrah while riding a red camel. The bridle of that camel is made of palm fiber, and Musa (peace be upon him) is wearing a woolen cloak.
