Hadith 6212
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ بِحَرَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَجَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًَا قَالَ لِشَيْءٍ قَسَمَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : مَا عَدَلَ فِي هَذَا ، فَقَالَ : فَقُلْتُ : وَاللَّهِ لأُخْبِرَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " يَرْحَمُ اللَّهُ مُوسَى ، قَدْ كَانَ يُصِيبُهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْ هَذَا ثُمَّ يَصْبِرُ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed something, so a man said about it: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not act justly regarding this." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I thought, by Allah! I will definitely inform the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this. I informed him, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah have mercy on Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him); he was harmed with more than this, but still he remained patient."
