Hadith 6185
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الأَزْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَاءُ الرَّجُلِ غَلِيظٌ أَبْيَضُ ، وَمَاءُ الْمَرْأَةِ رَقِيقٌ أَصْفَرُ ، فَأَيُّهُمَا سَبَقَ كَانَ الشَّبَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man's seminal fluid is thick and white, while a woman's fluid is thin and yellow. Whichever of them prevails, the resemblance (of the child) will be to that one."
