Hadith 6165
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَمَّا نَفَخَ فِي آدَمَ ، فَبَلَغَ الرُّوحُ رَأْسَهُ عَطَسَ ، فَقَالَ : الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Allah Almighty breathed the soul into Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) and it reached his head, he sneezed, so he said: All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. Then Allah Almighty said to him: Allah have mercy on you."
