Hadith 6152
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلا : وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا سورة يس آية 38 ، قَالَ : " مُسْتَقَرُّهَا تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the statement of Allah, "The sun runs on its fixed course." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Its course is beneath the Throne.
