Section on the Beginning of Creation - Allah decreed causes for things without increasing or decreasing them
Hadith 6150
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْقَطَّانُ بِالرَّقَّةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَزِيرُ بْنُ صُبَيْحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ حَلْبَسٍ ، عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَرَغَ اللَّهُ إِِلَى كُلِّ عَبْدٍ مِنْ خَمْسٍ : مِنْ رِزْقِهِ ، وَأَجَلِهِ ، وَعَمَلِهِ ، وَأَثَرِهِ ، وَمَضْجَعِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has decreed five things for every servant: his sustenance, his death, his deeds, his mark, and his abode (that is, his grave)."
