Hadith 6136
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ، وَعَبْدَانُ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ، قَالا : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْقِلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : سَأَلَ أُنَاسٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكُهَّانِ ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسُوا بِشَيْءٍ " ، قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّهُمْ يُحَدِّثُونَ أَحْيَانًا بِالشَّيْءِ يَكُونُ حَقًّا ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " تِلْكَ الْكَلِمَةُ مِنَ الْجِنِّ يَحْفَظُهَا ، فَيَقْذِفُهَا فِي أُذُنِ وَلِيِّهِ ، فَيَخْلِطُونَ فِيهَا أَكْثَرَ مِنْ مِائَةِ كِذْبَةٍ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Some people asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) about the jinn, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said to them: "They have no significance." They said: "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Sometimes they say something that turns out to be true." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "This is a word that comes from the jinn, which he has remembered, and he pours it into the ear of his companion, who then adds a hundred lies of his own to it."
