ذكر ما يجب على المرء من لزوم التفاؤل وترك التطير اقتداء برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم-
One should be optimistic and avoid superstition, following the Prophet’s example
Hadith 6124
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لا طِيَرَةَ ، وَخَيْرُهَا الْفَأْلُ " ، قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، وَمَا الْفَأْلُ ؟ قَالَ : " الْكَلِمَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ يَسْمَعُهَا أَحَدُكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates, I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no reality in bad omens, and the best of them is optimism (fa’l)." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What is meant by optimism (fa’l)?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "It is a good word which a person hears."
