Hadith 6123
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْقَطَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا طِيَرَةَ ، وَالطِّيَرَةُ عَلَى مَنْ تَطَيَّرَ ، وَإِنْ تَكُ فِي شَيْءٍ ، فَفِي الدَّارِ وَالْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no reality in superstition; its burden will be upon the one who practices it. If (misfortune) were to exist in anything, it would be in a house, a horse, or a woman."
