ذكر خبر أوهم من لم يحكم صناعة الحديث أنه مضاد لقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا عدوى أو ناسخ له-
Report that may mislead some into thinking it contradicts or abrogates "no contagion"
3 ذكر الزجر عن قول المرء بالعدوى والصفر الذي كان يقول به أهل الجاهلية-Warning against belief in contagion and "safar" as in pre-Islamic times
4 ذكر الخبر المدحض قول من زعم أن هذه السنة اختلف على أبي هريرة فيها ونفى صحتها أصلا-Refuting those who claim there is disagreement on this narration from Abu Huraira
5 ذكر الإخبار عن نفي جواز قول المرء بالعدوى-Report denying the permissibility of believing in contagion
6 ذكر الزجر عن استعمال المرء العدوى في ذوات الأربع-Warning against using contagion among animals
7 ذكر الإباحة للمرء مؤاكلة ذوي العاهات ضد قول من كرهه-Permissibility of eating with those who have illnesses, contrary to those who dislike it
8 ذكر الزجر عن تطير المرء في الأشياء-Warning against superstition in things
9 ذكر التغليظ على من تطير في أسبابه متعريا عن التوكل فيها-Severe warning against superstition without reliance on Allah
10 ذكر الخبر الدال على أن الطيرة تؤذي المتطير خلاف ما تؤذي غير المتطير-Report that superstition harms the superstitious more than others
11 ذكر ما يجب على المرء من لزوم التفاؤل وترك التطير اقتداء برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم-One should be optimistic and avoid superstition, following the Prophet’s example
12 ذكر وصف الفأل الذي كان يعجب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم-Description of the optimism that pleased the Prophet
