The nephew of Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to me: O my nephew, shall I not perform for you the ruqyah (spiritual healing) which the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform? I replied: Yes. Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) recited this: "In the name of Allah, seeking blessing, I perform ruqyah for you. May Allah grant you healing from every illness that has afflicted you. O Lord of the people, remove the suffering, grant healing, You are the only One who grants healing, there is no healer except You." (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The correct thing is that the narrator's name is Azhar bin Sa'd, not Azhar bin Sa'id.
