Hadith 6080
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أن النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كَوَى أَسْعَدَ بْنَ زُرَارَةَ مِنَ الشَّوْكَةِ " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : تَفَرَّدَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had Sayyiduna As'ad bin Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him) cauterized with a thorn.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) In narrating this report, the narrator named Yazid bin Zurai' is unique.
