ذكر الأمر لمن رأى في منامه ما يكره أن يتحول من شقه إلى شقه الآخر بعد النفث والتعوذ اللذين ذكرناهما-
If one dislikes a dream, he should turn to his other side after spitting and seeking refuge
Hadith 6060
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مَوْهَبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمُ الرُّؤْيَا يَكْرَهُهَا ، فَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ ثَلاثًا ، وَلْيَسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ ثَلاثًا ، وَيَتَحَوَّلْ عَنْ جَنْبِهِ الَّذِي كَانَ عَلَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a person sees a dream which he does not like, he should spit three times to his left and seek Allah's protection from Satan three times, and then he should change the side on which he was lying (i.e., he should turn to the other side)."
