Hadith 6034
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهَيْرٍ بِتُسْتَرَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الأَزْرَقُ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ هُزَيْلِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عن النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي ابْنَةٍ ، وَابْنَةِ ابْنٍ ، وَأُخْتٍ ، قَالَ : " لِلابْنَةِ النِّصْفُ ، وَلابْنَةِ الابْنِ السُّدُسُ ، وَمَا بَقِيَ فَلِلأُخْتِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): When (among the heirs of the deceased) there is a daughter, a granddaughter, and a sister, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The daughter will receive half, the granddaughter will receive one-sixth, and whatever remains will go to the sister.
