Refuting those who claim only ‘Abd al-Razzaq narrated this from Ma‘mar
Hadith 6030
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْقَطِيعِيُّ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمَيْدٍ الْمَعْمَرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عن النبي صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَلْحِقُوا الْمَالَ بِالْفَرَائِضِ ، فَمَا أَبْقَتِ الْفَرَائِضُ ، فَلأَوْلَى رَجُلٍ ذَكَرٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Give the wealth to those entitled to fixed shares, and whatever remains after the fixed shares, it will go to the closest male relative."
