Hadith 5993
أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقَيْسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ " أَنَّ جَارِيَةً وُجِدَ رَأْسُهَا قَدْ رُضَّ بَيْنَ حَجَرَيْنِ ، فَقَالُوا لَهَا : مَنْ فَعَلَ هَذَا بِكِ ؟ فُلانٌ وَفُلانٌ ؟ حَتَّى ذُكِرَ رَجُلٌ يَهُودِيٌّ ، فَأَوْمَأَتْ بِرَأْسِهَا ، فَأُخِذَ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَأَقَرَّ ، فَأَمَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يُرَضَّ رَأْسُهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A girl was found in such a state that her head had been crushed between two stones. People asked the girl, "Who did this to you? Was it so-and-so? Was it so-and-so?" until the mention of a certain Jewish man came up. She indicated with her head (that it was him). That Jew was apprehended and he confessed, so by the order of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), his head was crushed with a stone.
